Sustainable Fashion
Sustainable Fashion
is a key part of the strategy of preventing global warming
Exploring sustainable fashion was the inspiration for creating a safe space where young people could enjoy developing their creativity in a series of sustainable fashion workshops leading to participation in local arts events and a fashion show.
Innovative workshops include: up-cycling / re-cycling of existing garments, how to use plastics and other recycled materials, and to explore ideas suggested by participating young people.
Materials for the workshops are through donation, recycling old garments, fabrics and other materials.
